Configuring a Custom Domain

Learn how to connect your own custom domain name (e.g. yourclub.com) to your Club Creator website.

By default, your website is accessible at a free *.clubcreator.app subdomain. If you are on a paid plan, you can connect your own professional custom domain name (such as sydneyfc.com or yourclub.org) to brand your site.

Step 1: Open Project Settings

From your workspace dashboard, click on the Settings button on your project’s card, or expand Site Settings in the Console sidebar and select Custom Domain.

Step 2: Enter your Custom Domain

In the domain input field, type your custom domain name (do not include https:// or www., just type the raw domain name, e.g. yourclub.com).

Click the Save or Connect Domain button to submit the change.

Step 3: Configure your DNS Records

After saving, the settings page will update to display a set of DNS record instructions. To connect your domain successfully:

  1. Log in to your domain registrar account (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains).
  2. Go to the DNS Zone Editor or DNS settings panel for your domain.
  3. Add a new CNAME or A record with the Host/Name and Value/Target details displayed on your Club Creator settings screen.
  4. Once added, DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate globally. Our edge routing worker will automatically issue a free SSL certificate for your site as soon as the DNS records are verified.
